Gaza and West Bank Palestinians Support Hamas Atrocities

The PA governed Gaza until a takeover by Hamas militants in 2007.  However, according to the findings by a Palestinian pollster,  since the Hamas takeover support for the more militant Hamas had grown significantly among the Arab population in Israel.  In mid-December a war-time poll published by a Palestinian pollster shows a rise in support for Hamas.  Support appears to have ticked up even in the devastated Gaza Strip, and an overwhelming rejection of Western-backed President Mahmoud Abbas, with nearly 90% calling on him to must resign.  Even before the war more than half of the residents of Gaza claimed support for Hamas who would easily defeat Abbas there.    Palestinian Media Watch  https://new.thecradle.co/articles-id/15538

President Biden is not alone in being blinded by the residents of Gaza who are fleeing to the south.  While some are loudly denouncing Hamas,  the actual popularity of Hamas and support for Hezbollah is approximately 50%. Those running for their lives at the border are not stupid, however; they will of course deny their ties to and support for Hamas……wouldn’t you in their situation?
